I´m pretty much all settled in now. This keyboard, whilst claiming to be US layout, still wait´s for me to press ´ and ~ twice before printing the character. I´m going to develop some terrible kind of typing disorder. And they´ll have to shoot me. As far as living conditions go, the hotel is very ¨hotelish¨. Which is to say, I leave a towel on the floor and no one yells at me. The voodoo towel tends to magically clean and rehang itself on the towel rail while I´m working. This in itself is a bit of a shock, I can see more habits forming... There is about 3 TV channels, well there are more but they are full of people speaking in tongues. So these pictures were snapped by the work phone that I have at the moment, it is full of 3G goodness. Unless the ¨g¨ stands for goat, in which case it isn´t quite so full of goodness. So I only took three photos, because I was pretty sure that someone was going to steal the phone. I keep expecting to be offered camera tripods or umbrellas by hawkers, but I´ve not come across any yet. None really. Can you tell I´m really trying to prevent the div float right setting on those images from stuffing up the text? I try and try...Ooo, I have a meeting to go to, yes... I´m still at work, it´s 8pm and I have a meeting. I come all the way around the world to attend a meeting in the middle of the night just so the festering NZ´ers can have their sleep. Off I go... |
